LUHAČOVICE (pop.
5,800) is a beautiful spa town in South Moravia, about 20 kilometres southeast
of the town Zlín. It is picturesquely situated in the valley of the river
Št'ávnice, surrounded by the wooded slopes of the Bílé Karpaty mountains.
It is Moravia's biggest spa with a 300-year-long tradition. Luhačovice
is renowned for its 15 mineral springs, favourable climatic conditions
and a pleasant atmosphere enhanced by the rare harmony between the interesting
architecture of the spa houses and their natural setting.
