Hotel
PRAHA was originally designed as a facility for the needs of government
and opened in 1981. At that time the hotel had to be a self-contained
unit, so that the guests did not have to leave the hotel complex
at all. To comply with this requirement, an enormous background
had to be built and many special provisions made. For example -
all the rooms are exceptionally spacious (non-comparably to any
other hotel in Prague!); hotel building is surrounded by a large
park to provide the privacy; a number of one-of-a-kind facilities
was installed inside the hotel, for example - unique private lifts
that help keep trespassers out of the prominent guests zone.
All 124 rooms command a stunning panoramic view of the city, with
a dramatic skyline punctuated by Prague Castle. Air conditioned,
each room leads out onto a private bush-framed terrace.

Location : Situated in the north-west of Prague in a quiet garden-suburban
vicinity, off the main road connecting the airport with the city
center.
The nearest important points (by car): airport 10 min., public transport
2 min., city center 15 min.
Transport to Centrum : Going by public transport there are
two convenient starting points:
1.underground line A station "Dejvická" (exit direction
"Evropská street")
then you can either sacrifice a 10 minutes walk, or take tram lines
No. 2, 20, 26, get off at station "Hadovka", or go by
Hotel PRAHA shuttle-bus (station is on "Evropská street"
by the Diplomat hotel)
2. underground line A station "Hradcanská" (exit
direction "DP BUS Hanspaulka")
then take the bus No. 131, get off at station "Hanspaulka" |

Room Details :
DOUBLE ROOM 80, twin or king size bed, desk and settee arrangement
(conference table and comfortable armchairs), fully-stocked minibar,
colour TV satellite programme set, direct-dial phone and a room
safe, comfortable bathroom with a bathtub, bidet, fullsize mirror
and hair dryer, additional separate toilet, entrance lobby with
spacious luggage area and closets large enough to accommodate longer
stays. Hotel also offer non-smoking doubles on the non-smoking floor.
STUDIO 36 (1 of them for disabled guests), two separate rooms
- sitting room with settee and a spacious bedroom, (lockable connecting
doors allow studios to be variously adapted for accommodatiing a
large family, small business meetings or corporate hosting), twin
or king size bed, desk and settee arrangement (conference table
and comfortable armchairs) , fully-stocked minibar, colour TV satellite
programme set, direct-dial phone and a room safe, comfortable bathroom
with bathtub, bidet, fullsize mirror and hair dryer, additional
separate toilet, entrance lobby with spacious luggage area and closets
large enough to accommodate longer stays.
Hotel also offer non-smoking studios on the non-smoking floor.
One studio has been completely modified for disabled guests. It
is located on the 5th floor, close to the lifts.

Entrance lobby is connected by a dominant staircase with the Lounge

100 people and more. There is a stage and dance floor there. The
Hall is patchable with adjacent summer terrace.
