architectonic jewels amid beautiful hilly countryside surrounded
by lakes - TELC which was once a royal water fort founded at
the crossroads of major trade routes gained its Renaissance
appereance, that has been preserved almost intact up to the
present, after a devastating fire. After a guided tour around
the lavishly decorated chateau´s interiors with coffered ceilings
you can admire the large central square lined with gabled houses.
Each of them has a different facade adorned with frescoes sgraffito
or later Baroque and Rococo sculptures. SLAVONICE - the medieval
merchant town located on the former Salt Trade Rout. THESE TWO

and modern colonnades and locally manufactured glass and porcelain.

Description: Some 40 km out of Prague,
one of the most popular and oldest castles in the Czech Republic
looms on the rock above a river. It was founded in 1241 A.D.
in the vicinity of the town of Benešov. In the castle there
is situated for example one of the largest collection of the
graphical sheets with the 30-year war motives, as well as one
of the most extensive collections of copperplate prints and
antique weapons. The castle underwent an extensive Baroque reconstruction
and is decorated with stuccos. In 1991 the castle was returned
to the house of Sternberks, who live in the castle at the moment.

to Holašovice- a typical Czech village worldfamous for its unique
